WELCOME...
to Winter 2007

Well winter has definitely arrived! The chill can be felt right to your bones.

And what does winter mean?
That summer is not that far away.

And what does summer mean?
Bikinis and Board shorts.

Okay question time is over, time to get serious.

»  Summer is a time of shorts and singlets, bikinis and board shorts. This doesn’t leave much room for body image issues. Typically winter is the season when we like to rug up in our trackies and jumpers, we can easily blame any unsightly bulges to the amount of layers we have on and get away with it.

We eat more and do less, not a good recipe for that hot summer bod.

Summer is not the time to start the post-winter freak out, winter is.

The solution? Don’t stop your exercise and health regime just because the mercury level has dropped into freeze mode.

Change the way you exercise. If you carry yourself through the warmer months with solo walks along the beach chances are you aren’t going to feel too motivated to get out there on a blistering cold morning by yourself. Join a group! That way you will have trainers who will KNOW when you have slept in, ‘class mates’ who will ask you where you were that day, it gives you accountability.
Most of us understand the value of having an exercise buddy so why not have 6?
That is exactly what we Personal Trainers are here for, your motivation.

New mums who feel like they don’t have a spare minute to themselves let alone to exercise, join in on our ‘Babes With Bubs’ stroller-cize classes starting in August.

If all else fails get moving during your ad breaks on TV.
30 mins per day. Minimum. Keep moving!
